Components for a managed machine (agents)
These are applications that perform data backup, recovery and other operations on machines running Acronis Backup & Recovery 11. Agents require a license to perform operations on each managed machine. We are agents of various additional components or subcomponents that implement the advanced functionality and therefore may require additional licenses.
Components for centralized management
These components are supplied with the advanced editions, provide centralized management capabilities. The use of these components is not licensed.
Console
The console provides a graphical user interface and a remote connection to the agents and other components of Acronis Backup & Recovery 11. Using the console is not licensed.
Bootable Media
Bootable Media creates bootable media that allow the use of agents and other utilities in the disaster recovery environment.
License for Bootable Media are not required when installing the wizard along with the agent. All such additional components of the agent will be available in the environment for disaster recovery. To install the Bootable Media on the machine without an agent requires a license key, or at least one license per server license. A license may be free or appointed.

Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 can back up and restore the file systems listed below with the following restrictions:
